The child’s play is of great importance for their intellectual development, imagination, fantasy, memory, language, logic thinking, watchfulness and skills. The play /in an open space/ learns them of fast and adequate reactions, develops their sense for managing in a definite situation, learns them to be independent and tolerant, approves their emotional balance. They develop their physical abilities, of course.
The child’s play can be educative. A child’s behavior can change by using of non-typical character forms in the real play. The play is a transition to the real world of the adults.
The play starts at the beginning months after their birth. Firstly, the child starts looking at images, the first image is a mum who imitates the grimaces and sounds of her baby which is a kind of communication. A play is also when the baby follows a slowly moving object in his eye point or when starts throwing on the ground different in a weight, form and size objects listening to what kind of sounds giving out, throwing in a different distance. A play is also when he tries to catch the hanging toys over his bed, he examines the toys sometimes long and enjoying with hand and leg fingers. Using his sense of touch, hearing, eyesight the child develops important brain paths responsible for his intellectual development.

The gross motor skills /climbing, running, jumping/. Each play which includes movement fingers/hands /example: painting with fingers, with a chalk or a pencil, plays which include learning skills with hands, passing ball, divide a toy into two parts, arrange a puzzle from two parts.

The children are interested in a doll theatre, you can let them to help for making sweet things with the mum in the kitchen, the child can already play with one person only, he perceives his friends like fellows.

9-12 years the children start playing in groups, there are leaders already. They form friends, this is the stage of the real friendships. The emotional adventures become important, they form social skills.
It is great when the child plays with same age friends, but for little children the play is more valuable and useful when an adult take part in. The child gets information which behavior is good and which not. He learns to communicate, understand which is correct and incorrect, the speaking is stimulated.
When the little children play with mum and dad they have the sense of calmfulness and safety.
Observing their child’s play, the parents can orientate for the temperament and if the child is active /dominant (for the moment). Do not forget the child changes his play and his temperament changes also.
The child has to be the possibility to play with different toys, but it is not a good idea toys to be divided into women and men. At this way the child learns to respect and tolerance to the other choice.
Boys prefer to play with constructors and solve logical tasks, a physiological examination is made in which a girl who is playing with a constructor develops her spatial thinking, a girl becomes more self – confident when solving logical tasks and playing chess.
It is important to know: toys with which the child plays do not open his sexual orientation and do not influence on it.
A boy who is playing with dolls can become a doctor or a fashion clothes designer. Give possibility to a child to play with every kind of toys he wants, let express his emotions.
It is not necessary many toys for playing. When the toys are less the child stimulates his imagination and creativity, his communication, learns to care and emotional connection. Do not embarrass to stay the child alone with toys, in the child corner so he makes himself comfort and gains independence (if the child is little it is good to observe him).
Parents have to play with their children, it is useful for them, so the children feel loved, sure, special and build emotional connection parent – child which continues during the whole life.
It is a pity but there are harmful child plays. The plays which give negative models and aggression. Useful are all plays which develop the creativity.
